Maitake is a Japanese sensate in Season 2 of Sense8, who appears to Lila to keep tabs on her whereabouts with Wolfgang, warning her not to give him too much information and to stay on target. He is one of the members of her cluster.

Death[]
After helping Lila to evacuate Whispers from The Forcella, Maitake took off with them to go to the heliport for the exchange with The Chairman. After Jonas killed The Chairman through the drone Habib, Maitake boarded the helicopter with Lila and Whispers to escape. However, the helicopter was shot out of the sky by Wolfgang using a rocket launcher, resulting in the deaths of Maitake, Lila, and Whispers.
Personality[]
Cold and stoic not much is known about him. Maitake seemed to have a close and possible intimate relationship with Lila.
