Gunnar is a famous and professional Icelandic pianist. He is the father of Riley Blue and the husband to Ellen.
He is a passionate and accomplished musician, classically trained but also gifted in arranging contemporary music. It's no secret where his daughter Riley's musical sensitivity comes from.

Gunnar traveled alongside Riley and Will to Amsterdam. Though he was informed to keep a low profile, he played his ukulele and sang a song as his daughter approached.[1]

Gunnar is a kindhearted and overall optimistic man. Music is a major part of his life, along with his daughter Riley. Despite the death of his wife, son in law, and granddaughter, Gunnar is able to be Riley’s rock. Whenever he misses Riley, Gunnar visits Lúna and Magnús’s grave. Gunnar is a supportive and accepting father— shipping Icelandic goods to Riley in order to assist with the Whispers stakeout.
